Luke joins Gov. Udom to inaugurate roads in Oron

The member representing Etinan/ Nsit Ibom /Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency, Mr Onofiok Luke was part of the dignitaries that joined the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel as road projects were inaugurated in Oron today.

The roads include the 2.1km Oron Highway, 1.8km Murtala Muhammed Way, 0.85km Customs road and 0.4km Market Square road projects measuring 5.1 kilometres.

Governor Emmanuel used the opportunity to assure the people of Akwa Ibom State that all ongoing road projects his administration has embarked upon across the state will be completed before he leaves office.

Dispelling the rumours of a planned defection by the Governor, he seized occasion to reassure the people of the state of his unwavering commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy on the platform of PDP.

Prominent sons and daughters of Oro nation who spoke at the ceremony thanked the Governor for making Oron development a priority of his administration.
